How to Witness for Christ

The good news of Christ is something that we should share with family, friends, and relatives and even co-workers. We should learn how to witness for Christ and this is how. First and foremost, it is important to understand that as long as we are saved, we can witness for Christ. Been saved therefore automatically qualifies you to be a witness for Christ. Therefore, there is nothing special that you have to do to be a witness for Christ apart from accepting Him and believing in Him. It is Him, Christ, who qualifies you to be his witness. This is very evident in the New Testament. The people who were saved in the New Testament after encountering Christ were able to go out and speak of Him and about what He had done. Therefore, going for special training or special sessions is not a guarantee of witnessing for Christ if you are not saved. This is, therefore, the first step you should take if you want to witness for Christ. For you to get saved, you should accept Christ as your Lord and savior and you should have faith in Him, the son of God.

The other thing that you should do is share your experiences with Christ. Witnessing for Christ does not mean that you have answers to everything. Accepting Christ into your life is the first step to a journey with Him. Therefore, you have to learn and experience Him step by step in your life. Therefore, when witnessing Christ, you should start with what He has done for you, what you have seen Him do and what you have heard. You should talk about your daily life with Christ. Let people hear your testimony about Christ. You should let people know of the good works that he has done in your life. How has your life changed since you accepted Christ? This is a growth process. Therefore, you should let yourself grow and open yourself to endless possibilities of how good life in Christ is. This is one of the ways on how you can witness for Christ.

You should also practice how to speak about Christ as a way of witnessing for Him. It does not matter when you got saved. You can witness for Christ from the very moment you accept Him. Therefore, you should start with one person. Let them know about Christ and how amazing He is. In a day or at least a week, reach out to one person about Christ. You should make this a goal. Witnessing for Christ is not a one-time thing that you should do. Witnessing for Christ is something we should do as often as we can. Let people know and share in His love and goodness. Witnessing for Christ should be done regardless of the other person’s background or differences. You should therefore not feel limited to witness for Christ and you should do it without fear or feeling intimidated. Your faith shall be strengthened as you move forward and you shall confidently witness for Christ.
